Nigeria NUC connects 27 Universities to an online research portal
Nigeria's National Universities Commission's Nigeria Research Network NgRen (http://ngren.edu.ng/) which was set up six months ago is now operational with 27 Universities set up on the network. It is expected to be a repository of research publications and a one stop shop for access to all Nigerian Universities sites when fully operational. This is the first network of its kind in West Africa and it is expected to provide more visibility for research publications coming out of the country.
