According to QS world university ranking 2012, Korean universities made great strides once again in global rankings, with six now placed in the world's top 200.

On the list for 2012 by British consulting firm Quacquarelli Symonds released Monday, Seoul National University came 37th, and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) 63rd and 97th. Yonsei University was at 112, while Korea and Sungkyunkwan Universities came 137th and 179th, reports Chosun Ilbo
