The Ministry of Education(MOE) have announced a plan for strengthening safety education for elementary, middle and high school students and teachers. A numbers of recent lethal accidents proved that there is a need for safety training especially involving schools and extracurricular activities.

According to the MOE, a “school safety instructor” license will be created in 2015, which will count as extra credit on the national teacher examination and career development. Teachers who are already working in schools will have to complete a training course by 2017. Students will also be subject to safety training.
