Ministry of Education promises to improve labour rights in local HEIs

MoE estimated that amongst the 45,000 adjunct teaching staff in local HEIs, five per cent do not hold a full-time post in an institution. Legislators questioned the accuracy of the estimation and called for a thorough check from the Minister to improve labour rights protection in colleges and universities, reports the United Daily.
