Malaysia is positive in becoming an international education hub

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin commented that Malaysia is nearer to achieving its goal of becoming an international education hub, aiming to attract 200,000 international students by 2020. Data from Education Ministry indicated that there are about 91,000 international students in Malaysia as of June this year.

He also reiterated that private institutions play a very crucial role in the transformation of Malaysia’s education system.
