Malaysia implements stricter measures for foreign students entering country
In its effort to tighten entry of foreign students, the Malaysian Higher Education Ministry is imposing new requirements to all foreign students. These include taking of medical insurance, obtaining student card and proof of acceptance from a higher education institution before they can apply for a visa through the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).
