Malaysia considering tightening entry requirement of medical courses

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S Subramaniam said that there is an influx of new doctors in the job market. The 33 medical schools in Malaysia produce about 5,000 new medical graduates each year. Therefore, the government is considering tightening the entry requirement for students looking to pursue medical courses in the country and overseas. Reports the Malay Mail Online.
