The Bolashak Programme (the Bolashak International Scholarship) is a scholarship which is awarded to high-performing students from Kazakhstan to study overseas all-expenses paid, provided that they return to Kazakhstan to work for at least five years after graduation. During the period from 1993 through 2013 Bolashak International Scholarship has been awarded to 10,346 Kazakhstanis for studying at the top 200 universities of 33 countries of the world.
