Korea becomes third-largest sender of students overseas

As is well known, Asians account for more than 50% of all students studying abroad worldwide. Not surprisingly China and India are the two buggiest sender followed by Korea.
According to a recent UNESCO report on outbound internationally mobile students, Korea ranked 3rd with 123,000 students (as of 2012). Exchange students were excluded but students who studied at higher education institutions for more than a year to gain a diploma were counted.
