K to 12 programme signed into law
President Aquino signed into law Wednesday the bill implementing the addition of 2 more years into the Philippines current 10-year basic education scheme. The newly signed law will restructure basic education in the country by requiring Filipino students to undergo one year in Kindergarten, six years in primary school, four years in junior high school and two years in senior high school.
