India's new HRD promises to re-visit the legislation on higher education
New HRD Minister Smriti Irani said that the government was mulling over increasing the spending on higher education to 6 per cent of the GDP and will also re-visit the legislation on higher education which lapsed with the end of previous Lok Sabha.
