Indian State Universities poised to embrace technology and digital methods of engagement

A task force has been set up by the Karnataka Knowledge Commission in collaboration with University of Mysore focussing on technology on Higher Education. Higher education principal secretary Bharat Lal Meena set an example by using video-conferencing to inaugurate and emphasised that the government plans to enhance utilisation of technologies available for better education in the country.

The task group has mandated the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and satellite-based education to impart education and higher education institutions.

The commission will not only evaluate current problems with technology usage in the education system, but also make recommendations on how to use technology and digital platforms and methods to develop and improve educational results

With the New Education policy highlighting the importance of digitalising Higher education to bring quality, innovation and improving the ranking of Indian Institutions world-wide and India's youth populations increasing usage of the social and digital media platforms, the opportunity that lies here is to capture the aspirations of the Indian youth. Not to mention making high quality education accessible to all quarters of the country.

Contextualised and consistent marketing through digital platforms will enable UK institutions to meet the right prospective students. It will enable UK institutions to reach wider audiences in both metro and second third tier cities through digital engagement, be it through digital masterclasses, webinars or counselling for student recruitment purposes.

We have a wide range of digital engagement offers that will enable you to market your institutions to potential markets as well as raise your institutions profile in India.
