Indian start-up launches integrated ERP for higher education institutions

E-paathsala, a Bangalore based start-up, has launched an end- to- end ERP technology solution for colleges and universities to help them manage accreditations such as NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Accreditations help the institutions get more funding, better enrolment and invest in faculty as well as infrastructure.

The ERP solution has evolved from providing consultancy to the institutions for getting accreditations to full-fledged ERP offering modules for student management, accounting and fees management, class management, library management, hostel management, transport management, learning management system, alumni management and more. Once the institution begins to use the ERP, it starts receiving accreditation report highlighting the gaps and providing recommendations for compliance. The process to apply and manage accreditations was manual and time-consuming and the start-up identified the pain point to develop a first of its kind solution in India.

Higher education institutions in India are adopting technology to streamline the otherwise time-consuming and manual processes. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India initiative, there will be more changes within the education sector in India.
