With the Modi government’s focus on skill and formal learning, local institutions in India are supporting this agenda and are signing partnerships with the industrial sector to make their students professionally ready through internships.

The renowned Presidency University in Kolkata has signed a deal with Edward Food Research and Analysis Centre Ltd (Efrac) India to provide an industry feel to its students that will help them secure a job post course completion.

Edward Food Research and Analysis Centre (EFRAC), is one of the largest integrated food testing and research facilities in India.

Through this tie up , students will have access to techniques and instruments that will help them have first-hand experience of working in an industry and will hone their skills to make them job-ready as soon as they complete their course of study.
