India and UK collaboration for mutual recognition of academic qualifications

India and the UK have recently agreed to set up a task force to work on mutual recognition of academic qualifications. The task force will consist of designated higher education organisations from both countries. This move aligns with the aim of New Education Policy to internationalise Indian higher education.

This collaboration will pave ways to enhance engagement between the countries in the field of education, research and innovation. The British Council is working closely with other UK and Indian stakeholders on this and will continue to share updates as this progress.
