IELTS in China is available in a number of cities, however the Covid-19 situation is changing quickly and unpredictable; as a result, test centres will continue to close and reopen according to local conditions.   

As of today, 41 (up from 39 last week) IELTS test centres (including 14 SELT) in 14 (up from 11 last week) cities are open, including centres in seven of the top 10 cities: Beijing, Shenzhen, Xi’an, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Wuhan.

The IELTS partners are committed to maintaining maximum IELTS capacity through the summer months and beyond, using a variety of strategies, including pop-up centres.
