The Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Pakistan will soon launch a new website, “Learning Opportunities Abroad” as a one-stop portal with a specific agenda to promote international scholarships to Pakistani students.

The website will constitute a network of all HEC websites and will also be connected to Ministry of Federal Education aiming to deliver on new developments in the field of Higher Education. The main agenda of the portal will promote scholarship programs, M.Phil And PhDs, facilities for special students, international Higher Education partnerships and achievements of HEC. The chairperson of Higher Education Commission Dr. Mukhtar shared that due to HEC’s partnership with other countries, 2654 students have been sent aboard on scholarships since 2009.
