Hard pressure burdens universities of excellence

Despite numerous difficulties in developing “universities of excellence” to have a number of higher education institutions listed in the world’s 200 leading universities by 2020, Vietnam still moves ahead with the projects. After the foundation of the Vietnam – France and Vietnam – Germany universities, similar modelled universities will be developed with Russia and Japan.  In mid September 2013, the government also approved in principle the establishment of the Vietnam – UK Research and Training Research under the University of Danang, which would be the Vietnam – UK university in the future.
