"Gulu University during the weekend signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, in a move aimed at improving science-related courses at the University. The partnership will also see the two universities collaboratein student and staff exchanges, research partnerships and curricular development. Prof Ian Jacobs, the UNSW Vice Chancellor, said they chose Gulu University in Africa because of the impact it is creating towards rehabilitating the war-hit region.
