NIRF has laid down a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The methodology is based on the recommendations of the core committee set up by the HRD Ministry to identify parameters for ranking institutions. The parameters include –

  • Teaching, Learning and Resources
  • Research and Professional Practices
  • Graduation outcomes
  • Outreach and Inclusivity
  • Perception

Rankings have also been developed for separate subject fields such as engineering, management and pharmacy.

SIEM India regularly works with local institutions, most of which are included in the rankings and can help UK institutions get in touch with the local institutions for collaboration.
