On 25 August, the University of British Columbia finalised an unprecedented, strategic cooperation agreement with the Chongqing municipal government, opening the doors to increased academic and research collaborations with universities and research institutions. Four universities in Chongqing signed cooperation agreements with the University of British Columbia. The four universities are Chongqing University, Southwest University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Sichuan International Studies University (SISU). Reports Cqnews.net
