First-phase plan to send 1,000 university presidents from central and western areas abroad to study and train launched

The Lee Shau Kee Foundation and the Hong Kong Pei Hua Education Foundation will donate RMB 80 million to cooperate with China's Ministry of Education to launch a plan to send 1,000 university presidents from central and western areas abroad to study and train from 2012 to 2016. The plan is aimed at improving university management in central and western areas. The first batch of university presidents will go to the US, the UK, Australia and Germany to study and train, reports Jyb.cn
