A few educational investment projects approved early this year have commenced in May. This article presents two examples of successful, long-term educational investment in Vietnam.

British University Vietnam (BUV) started the construction of their second campus in Ecopark, Hung Yen province, 20km from Hanoi, which expects to accommodate up to 7,000 students.

BUV provides undergraduate degree programmes awarded by the University of London and Staffordshire University in the most popular subject areas among Vietnamese students such as Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, and Marketing. On-demand elements such as skills training, international field trips, overseas study elements, and internships with international employers will also be embedded. BUV claims their commitments for world-class standards in both academic quality and infrastructure.

The Singapore International School (SIS) and Pegasus International CollegeUni (PIU) were launched in Pegasus Education Complex in Danang. PIU offers bi-lingual programmes in Tourism and Hospitality Management which are the high priority areas for development of Danang. PIU also has an arrangement with University of Edinburgh Napier to allow its students who complete the two-year programme to enrol on the third year in Business Administration at their partner university.

The above SIS and PIU are two of KinderWorld’s 15 campuses across Vietnam that provide international and bi-lingual programmes from kindergarten to undergraduate and postgraduate.
