The Ministry of Education has taken measures to maintain fixed dates to issue results of the Grade 5 Scholarship exam, G.C.E Ordinary Level and G.C.E Advanced Level examinations. This decision has been made to avoid the inconvenience caused to students due to the delay in releasing examination results.

The Ministry has instructed the Examinations Commission to issue results of the above examinations on fixed dates as follows:

Grade 5 Scholarships Examination: October 5

G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination: March 28

G.C.E Advanced Level Examination: December 27

The Ministry of Education is also currently considering holding both the Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations at the end of the year in 2019 in order to save time for students.
