Exam dates confirmed for state board students of standard X and XII: Maharashtra state, India

The Maharashtra education minister announced on 20 March that the state will conduct offline exams for students of standard X (SSC- Secondary School Certificate) and XII (HSC- Higher Secondary Certificate). These exams normally take place in February and March of every year, but due to COVD the HSC exam this year will start from 23 April and continue till 21 May 2021 and will be followed by practical examinations, while the SSC exam will commence from 29 April and conclude on 20 May. As the mode of teaching has been completely online this year, the students of SSC board will have internal assignments in the form of practicals and will be graded accordingly.
