Since China opened up to the world, there has been an increase in students studying the English language in private schools around the country. This increase can be seen as the result of an increasing number of Chinese students studying abroad.

According to the Ministry of Education 339,700 Chinese students studied abroad last year an increase of 19% from 2010.  The government are offering more support to the private education sector and the area looks to get more competitive as schools look to stand out from the crowd.
