Education experts suggest MOET to remove the floor-mark mechanism
Vietnamese students are currently admitted to a university based on their university entrance exam results, which prevents institutions from selecting the best and most suitable students for specific programmes. Many education experts have recently suggested MOET to give institutions autonomy to recruit students on their own based on the student’s quality and suitablity with the courses selected rather than continuing applying the floor mark mechanism, reports Vietnam Net Bridge.
