According to a recent poll by a UAE newspaper, the majority of students prefer digital learning to classrooms. Schools are scheduled to open next week and both parents and students are choosing digital/blended learning as they believe it is the safest option during the pandemic. A similar survey conducted by the Ministry of Education, found that 61% of students prefer online learning. This arrangement will be closely monitored for the first few weeks and be updated accordingly.

Online/blended learning was not an option prior to the pandemic, however the Ministry of Education is offering this now to make sure students' studies during this time are not affected.
