COVID-19 Set to digitise and disrupt the Gulf's US$67 billion education sector

The Gulf's US$67 billion education sector has been disrupted by COVID-19, forcing teachers to take classes online, assign tasks online and conduct exams digitally, something that was a myth until recent years that has suddenly become the new normal. The total number of students in the GCC is projected to reach 14.5 million in 2022 while the number of private schools in the GCC region is likely to reach 36,747 by 2022.
