Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and ICSE cancel examinations

On 25 June 2020 CBSE announced the cancellation of all pending examinations for classes 10 and 12 which were scheduled 1 to 15 July. Students and parents had appealed to the supreme court to cancel pending examinations earlier. Class 12 students will have the option to appear for examinations if they wish to. If they do not wish to, they will be assessed based on their performance over the two previous examinations. The details are not entirely clear, however we will keep updating as information is received.

ICSE have also cancelled their 10 and 12 exams and will announce details around results later, with internal marking most likely to be taken into consideration.
