The BUDI Scholarship is a collaboration between the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemristekdikti) together with LPDP (Lembaga Dana Dana Pendidikan) in order to improve the qualification level and competence of lecturers in Indonesia. The scholarship is for lecturers to continue their doctoral degree either abroad or in-country.The next application deadline is looming, i.e. Friday 28th of July. We encourage UK universities to disseminate this information to any prospective PhD students (although please note that the scholarship is limited to lecturers who are registered under Kemristekdikti).

The available quota is 50 scholarships for foreign universities and 500 scholarships for domestic universities. The scholarship include tuition, living expenses, departure and return, family allowance, book allowance, thesis / dissertation allowance, seminar, visa, and health insurance.
