The Ministry of Education has decided that all students of all classes of public education, will be promoted to the next class of their studies without any examination. This will be applied to students in the kindergarten, elementary, intermediate and secondary levels.

Minister of Education Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh stated that this is a continuation of the efforts of the leadership in dealing with the exceptional circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, after the curriculum was completed remotely following the great commendable efforts of teachers and administrators. The ministry said that teaching would continue normally through distance-education tools until the end of their academic year.

The ministry decided to consider ending the second semester of the academic year of 1441 following a mechanism under which the result of the first semester would be considered as the result of the second semester.
