AICTE announces single entrance exams for Architecture and Engineering courses for students in India
In yet another effort by AICTE to create a systematic and synchronised mechanism to streamline entrance exams in India, the government has recently announced single entrance examination from next year for Architecture and Engineering courses
This single entrance exam will be done like the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET), a single, all-India test for entry to medical and dental colleges launched in 2016.
This will not be applicable to students that are planning to study at IIT’s.
