The 2017 NAFSA Annual Conference will be held in Los Angeles, California May 28 – June 2. The NAFSA Annual Conference brings together more than 10,000 professionals in the field of international education for five packed days of training workshops, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and special events. The NAFSA Annual Conference is the place to connect with more international education professionals than you'll find at any other conference in the world.

The British Council will not be hosting UK institutions at the ‘Study in the UK’ space as we have done in past years. We will have a streamlined presence in the Expo Hall that will develop the services where we add the most value. Individual booth spaces are available for purchase through NAFSA with early-bird rates available through the end of August. The ‘Study in the UK’ pavilion is reserved for space 1861.

For 2017, we will continue to promote the UK as a study destination by amplifying the UK sector presence at NAFSA through digital marketing campaigns and by developing conference programming that aims to support UK institutions with international partnership development at NAFSA. We will continue to host expo hall networking events like the Tea-at-Two and will open this up to all UK universities. More information will follow on our wider NAFSA programme.

The British Council remains committed to representing the UK as a study destination and engaging with the study abroad community in the USA and globally. Later this year, we will be announcing a new global marketing campaign through the ‘Education is GREAT’ campaign that will support our work increasing student mobility to the UK.
