The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in coordination with the Ministry of Finance will pilot the change in education institutional funding and operation mechanism.  Those training disciplines with low socialisation ability but are needed by the State will be funded through contractual orders.  On the other hand, the State will gradually give less grant on the training disciplines with high socialisation ability while allow institutions to determine their tuition fees and diversify income sources so as to move to cost recovery models.  it is projected that the tuition fees for this training discipline group will step by step increase to cover 90 per cent of the training cost by 2016 – reports Vietnam Economics Times.
