2011 Plan ignites innovation among universities
On 11 April, the first batch of 14 "National Collaborative Innovation Centres" were approved for establishment. The "2011 Plan" was launched by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance. From 14 March to 24th March, the two ministries sent four teams of experts to inspect universities nationwide. Peking University, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University and Nanjing University are included in the 14 "National Collaborative Innovation Centres". Reports Moe.edu.cn on 12 April 2013.
