The Home Office released visa data for the third quarter of the year on 1 December, giving us our first clear view of inbound student mobility trends in 2016. Overall study visa issuance receded slightly, down 0.2 per cent compared to the first three quarters of 2015. Among the UK’s top ten non-EU recruitment markets, only three saw year-on-year growth in study visa issuance.
