The UK has finalised a GBP 1 billion worth trade deal with India which will create more than 6500 jobs in the UK.
Trade between the UK and India is worth about £23bn per year and they aim to double its value by 2030 and both countries show interest towards establishing a comprehensive Free Trade Agreement also.
The countries have also committed to deepening cooperation in education and conclude work on recognition of UK qualifications which will enhance student flow, skill transfer and knowledge sharing between the countries.
